My Story
Back in 2013, I wasn’t searching for a huge life change or a brand new career. I wasn’t chasing big titles or long-term plans. I was simply looking for more.
More independence.
More freedom.
More confidence in my own life.
For as long as I can remember, I was incredibly shy and nervous. Speaking to new people felt overwhelming. Stepping outside of my comfort zone felt safer to avoid than to try. I kept myself small because that felt easier, because it felt familiar.
At the same time, I had a full-time job and responsibilities, but I also had limits. I wanted a car so I could have more freedom and independence. I wanted extra income without taking on another traditional job or standing behind a cash register after already working all day. I wanted something flexible, something that fit into my life instead of controlling it.
And honestly, I wanted something that felt fun. Something exciting. Something that didn’t feel like work in the traditional sense. If I was going to sell a product, it had to be something I genuinely loved and believed in.
That’s when Scentsy came into my life.
At first, it felt like a small step, almost a quiet decision. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead, but I knew it felt right. I had already started to come out of my shell, little by little, and joining a company like this felt like a way to keep growing. A way to challenge myself in a safe and supportive environment.
And it did exactly that.
Scentsy helped me find my voice. It gave me confidence to talk to people, to share something I loved, and to believe that I was capable of more than I ever thought. It allowed me to grow personally while also working toward financial independence, on my own terms, at my own pace.
What started as a way to earn extra income and gain freedom became something so much bigger. It became a tool for growth, confidence, and self-belief. It showed me that stepping outside of my comfort zone didn’t have to be scary, it could be empowering.
Looking back, I didn’t join Scentsy because I had everything figured out. I joined because I wanted more freedom, more independence, and the courage to try something new.
